Starts 6 PM north (left) of DeRuyter Central School near the entrance to Fairgrounds.

This new route now adds Cortland St. to the 4 corners and Rt. 13 to Mechanic st and left to the Fairgrounds finishing at same place as half-marathon.
A loop course. From the start it heads east on Mechanic Street and then turns right onto Rt.13 going south through the main four corners straight up the infamous "South Hill". Once you crest the hill it will be a continous declining slope back to the village. Just beyond the one mile point there will be a water station and just beyond the two mile point is another water station. Reaching the village you will turn right onto Rt .13 followed by turning left at the main four corners. Then back to Mechanic St turning left and finishing in front of the Fairgrounds. You may now enjoy refreshments and fun at the Fair.
